FC Barcelona currently sit on top of the league table with a 4 point lead with Real Madrid at second place with a game still in hand. If there is one thing you can take from the battle of these two Spanish giants over the past few years, it's that the next game between these two sides - the famous El Clasico - on the 22nd of March will be the title decider. The winner in that match will most probably be crowned champion at the end of the season provided none of them slip up in the remaining 10 or so matches.
But before that, Barcelona have to contend with the current EPL champions Manchester City FC on there way to a quarter final place in the UEFA Champions League. The first leg saw Barcelona come out victorious with 2 goals to 1 at the Etihad stadium in Manchester. Considering the 2 away goal advantage and the recent form of Manchester City, Barcelona seem to have had their work cut short. Nevertheless, City are one of the top sides in Europe and Barcelona need to be on their best to overcome this challenge.
